Celebrate…


After a couple of sad days, we decided that we all needed to let loose and celebrate Mike’s life. Mike was the kind of guy that would want us to go out, have some drinks, shoot some pool and just spend time together.

On Saturday night, I was organizing and going through some things at my parent’s house and found a New York Mets t-shirt that Mike sent me for my birthday. I have had that shirt for over four years and I have never worn it. I thought that I should finally wear it. So, I took some scissors to it and “Flashdanced” it up. I think that it turned out pretty cool. Russell, Mike's brother, wore one of Mike's Yankee's hats. We are predicting another subway series. What do ya' think?


When I got home and started looking through the pictures. I was amazed to look at the photos and see everyone’s expressions, it’s almost as if Mike was there. In fact, I really believe that he was there. He was celebrating with us and celebrating the peace that he has found.
